Color Management

ISO 12647:2

Esveco Specialities produces full-colour printed matter in line with the ISO 12647-2:2004 process standard, which lays down virtually every aspect of process control in the printing process. It makes it possible to manufacture printed matter in an extremely predictable manner. It significantly reduces colour problems, for print reruns as well. No more disappointments because a document looked different on screen than in the actual printed matter. And a better match between successive print runs. These are the main benefits of ISO 12647:2 compliance:

  • Printed matter has a consistently high quality level
  • The colour quality is more easy to predict (the proof and finished printed matter are a better match)
  • Colour differences are minimised in repeat orders
  • Supplying cPDF (certified PDF) and the associated colour proof make communication between the designer, customer and printing company more transparent
  • Files are easily exchanged between companies complying with the ISO standard
  • You can supply files yourself. The menu provides a range of instructions and videotaped instructions that help you deliver adequate files. You will also find detailed information on ISO 12647:2.
